Alone for the weekend

excessor just planned a trip to Houston over the weekend to visit his mom while she recuperates from surgery, which seemed like a bad time for me to meet her for the first time, so I'm not going. Which means I'll be kinda lonesome over the period from Friday until his return Tuesday. Most of the usual suspects will be up at the River enjoying Lazybear, but I'll be down here enjoying (?) the unaccustomed aloneness. Oh well, it's only for a few days....

As it happens, rootbeer1 will also be in Texas this weekend (and the following week), leaving me behind. Our friend Dave will be staying here over the weekend, but will be spending time with work and other engagements. I may drive up to Lady Bear for the day, but otherwise I'm free, so if you'd like to get together, drop me a line.

I'll be back in the Houston area on Monday night. Looks like I'll miss Paul if he's coming just for the weekend. Oh well...next time...

San Diego's starting out well. I think I'm going to enjoy this week.
