The kitchen guy came back today and ripped out the counters, sink, and cooktop. The granite replacement isn't promised for two weeks, so we'll be cramped into a makeshift kitchen using the guest bathroom's sink (small) until then.

Tomorrow the window guys are scheduled to start replacing the windows. Mike went off to have dinner with a friend, so when I realized we were supposed to have taken down the window shades, I didn't have much help. I did about a third of them, which should be enough for them to start, and we can do the rest in the morning or while they're working.

It's gonna be mighty cold in the house when they start replacing windows. Bundle up. And take pictures of the hot workmen.
