Back from Europe

We left Venice yesterday at 3:45 AM via water taxi and arrived back home around 3:45 PM PDT, 21 hours later. It will take several days to recover, unpack, edit photos, and post a bit about our adventures, since there wasn't time or Internet access along the way. Thanks for the nudges.

To paraphrase the t-shirt we got from Atlantis for going on both ends of the Mediterranean cruise:

26 days, 2 continents, 8 countries, 15,549 miles, 14 ports, 5 flights, 6 airports, 7 suitcases, 1,378 photos....

Slept my usual 7 hours at about the EDT clock (about 5 hours from what my body wanted and 3 hours from PDT.) In a week we'll be back to normal time.
