excessor pulled a muscle in his lower back today -- not at the gym, but while bending over to pick up raked leaves. So I did all the cooking and cleaning for dinner for 5 tonight. Later I helped him prep for turkey dinner tomorrow and he baked two pies. Now he's in the strong arms of Vicodin.

We wish all of you a Happy Christmas, or whatever solstice festival you wish to celebrate. I know all of you who take the time to read our scribblings, serious or frivolous, mean a lot to both of us, and we appreciate your attention and involvement.

Is it too late to ask for one (actually two) more present(s) for Christmas? I know exactly what I want...


For the record, I never wrecked my back working out or lifting heavy. It's always been poor form at lifting light stuff or just some freak occurance.
