Seriously, as the FCD Prez (a role I didn't ask for but have almost always enjoyed over the past 2 years), being a Board member can be darn rewarding. If you enjoy square dancing, it gives you the opportunity to make your club better. There's no doubt that it'll require some of your time and energy but I for one, think its worth it.
