I just disposed of the last shirt of that sort I had, c. 1973. I don't think we're quite ready for their return. And this collection has an unfortunate mix of patterns and colors that just jars the senses. Another difference in the grim countenance of all the models -- no joy, no fun, which was an essential part of these loud styles back then.
It's just plain ugly and I was around the first time they tried to pawn off this crap. It looked bad then too. Am I the only one that thinks that the male model in the picture looks like K.D. Lang? LOL!
Yeah, styles have looked like this for the last 8 or so months here in New York. Every major department store has this terrible look in Men's wear. The women's styles are similarly tacky.
