drscottAfter a series of men drove up, fiddled, and left yesterday, a butch young lady turned up this morning and fixed the DSL line (it was a hardware problem in the line.) Let's hear it for technically-competent women!
Paul's new media center from Ethan Allen arrived yesterday. I spent four hours last night hooking up his surround sound system with the other components. Cables really suck. But most of it works now, with three optical inputs and terrific sound quality. I await the DSS [Digital Spread Spectrum] autoconfiguring media system, which will eliminate this mess of cables.
Light journaling for a few days while I help Paul move in. If we survive you'll hear from us by the weekend. :-)
