Remodel done (for now)

The finishing touches on the kitchen were completed this morning. I've uploaded a gallery of photos -- before, after, and progress -- along with some random shots of this and that. It's too pretty to use, especially the sink -- which is the one I bought originally, which our guy figured out how to install after sending me out on a two-hour wild goose chase Monday. So I have to return the cheap one to Home Depot.

Looks nice!

It does indeed look wonderful. What I liked is keeping many of the original features of the kitchen intact.

The cooktop looks great. I take it electronic controls? Nice indeed, and it should be easy to keep clean. :-)

Much easier to keep clean, though a little less intuitive to use than analog dials. And the layout was fine, so there was no reason to cahnge it (and run the cost way up.)

It's all stunningly gorgeous! You guys did a good job of choosing a nice granite. The cabinets look terrific. I want to see the cooktop in action. It's so sleek…

I like. You modernized while keeping to the original design feel. I like that cooktop too. I'll probably think about it every time I am cleaning around the knobs on mine. heh

Great job!

Looks great, we remodeled our kitchen a year and a half a go, such work dealing with contractos...

Beautiful! Echoing the comments from the rest of the guys, I like the elegant and functional details that you've added while keeping the overall original design - for example, the spice shelves above the cooktop. Smart!

I appreciate all of the close-ups of the new fixtures. But, could you also add an "after"-shot taken from the same perspective as your first "before" picture? I'll bet that'll be especially impressive.

A very nice kitchen. I like that the overall layout fit with your plans. When I redid my kitchen in Atlanta nothing was in the same place it had been before. Still, it's fun to have stuff all new and shiny.
