I did it, but didn't post it and it said I was a grade 7.

However, I've tested my writing level through Word and depending on what day, time etc, my writing level will vary a fair amount.

However, I'm prone to complex and long sentences that are too long for Word to deal with. :-) I imagine if I were to really look at the sentence, it'd have every preprosition, adverb, verb etc in it. :-)

I wouldn't expect anything much from a meme. What would be really fun is a 'bot that takes your postings and synthesizes new ones with the same style and semi-sensible content. Some of us could go on vacation and nobody would notice! :)

But seriously, I do write pretty well if I take the time to do it write. ;-)

I see those “How to Win Friends and Influence People” lessons are paying off. How very nice of you to notice and to comment about it. I sure hope there's something I can do for you in the near future.

I think your grade level is about right for the audience, where I am self-indulgently engaged in pompous verbosity and unnecessarily elaborate obfuscation. Plus I use semicolons correctly.

I wouldn't want you to change: I love your pompous verbosity and your unnecessarily elaborate obfuscatory text. I would like to think that this is not self-indulgent on your part, but rather the mark of a truly gifted thinker and writer with a remarkable ability to articulate not just a point of view, but a concordant feeling that leaves a reader to ponder, and possibly to resonate.

If I err as I punctuate, I trust you'll help me to place my colons (semi- or otherwise) correctly. Thank you for pointing that out, too.
