Big Show Blues

Tomorrow being the Folsom Street Fair, I'm trying to get in the mood. The dizziness problem has almost disappeared, but I'm still very low-energy -- usually I hide when I'm like this. Not that this stops me from going to the gym -- nothing stops that except the peak days of real illness -- but I just don't care much about seeing and being seen, meeting and being met, catching up with friends, or showing off the results of all that gym work. Snore.

Mike plans to be there with a friend, so maybe I'll go with [livejournal.com profile] excessor just to put in an appearance.

Even if you go you don't have to stay for long. I hope you take care of yourself so you can recover quickly though. I'm not going because I'm freaking out about school.

It's the kind of distraction no student whould be involved with. :-)

Unless maybe you find somebody to tie you down and make you study... "harder, harder!!!!"

Oh that's already happened.

I'm just not in the mood for Folsom, but I do want to go to Castro St. Fair the following weekend. I'm going to have a friend from Bear411 in town(from Canada/Vancouver area) and want to take him there. It's his first time in SF.

Both of the fairs are bigger than I'd like. Hairrison was actually Just Right, now that I think about it. And it's barely possible I met your friend when I lived in the West End 1988-93. Unless he's into leather etc. the Castro fair is maybe more the right speed for him.

I think I'll forgo Folsom and check out the Castro Street Fair too. So you're that nice looking guy who lives over a few hills from me (in Piedmont).

Yes, I'm the one that has the lighted sign over the hills from you, pointing to my place. ;)

Well, If I were in town I would certainly appreciate seeing you out at the Folson Street Fair:) Handsomeness always cheers me up! Course, I've never been to the Fair...just saw pictures:) If Paul and you go, I hope you have a nice time!

You shameless flatterer, you. Not that I mind.

It would be amusing to see relationship-oriented you comprehending the rutting and display behavior at Folsom. I just see that as colorful background -- it's been a long time since it seemed shocking or even interesting.

It's ok to not go.

Just vacillating! Maybe I won't be able to walk and that will solve the decision problem...

[identity profile] excessor.livejournal.com 2004-09-25 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I totally understand. I'm barely able to walk right now myself.
