Over the last few years, I've trimmed away at my goatee as gray hairs took it over from both sides, until it had narrowed to a small dark patch. I let it grow in the weeks we've been packing and kept the gray muted with some chemical assistance. How does it look?
Oh, and my hair is really getting thin in the front. I cut it shorter and shorter to compensate.

Date: 2010-03-31 09:13 pm (UTC)You look great, as always, putting the rest of us in your (approximate) age cohort to vast shame. It may be just the lighting or the camera settings, but I might suggest experimenting with a slightly lighter shade of chemical assistance on the goatee - I've heard one should generally err on the side of a lighter shade with these things, though I've only ever tried it once to disastrous effect. And in your case, I wouldn't want to be responsible for messing with perfection.

As we gradually come into maturity, I take solace that many of these changes are symbols of time, experience, and hopefully wisdom.
