Dear Confused:

Okay, I should have been more specific. Political humor, especially the web animations I've seen, tends to be stupid or propagandistic. This one is clever, making fun of both parties and their own exaggerated claims about "the enemy." And the tune is catchy. :)

I suppose it also satisfies my anti-partisan bias.

Since I first saw it, it's spread all over the web, so I guess it's now too popular. Sorry about that...

smxwl_at_smxwl_dot_com. Short for the (long since abandoned) nom de plume "Scott Maxwell."

I saw your typo "eage rot" as "cage rot", which describes pretty well my state of being at times. :)

I've been trying to finalize the rest-of-summer schedule today -- hard to coordinate with Mike, who keeps his on his machine, and the two wall calendars. So many events to fit in, then get reservations for Boston/P-Town in Sept., then set the dates for our pool party, while avoiding all the other events (we lost a lot of people the year we had it on Dore Alley day!)

The first suggestion would be cut out the muffins! Which, when you're trying for a low-carb diet, makes hearing about Jeff's dessert parties really hard. "Body modification" (what you are trying to do when you are intent on changing your general shape) requires commitment and sacrifice, though once you have changed habits the hardest part is over.

I welcome email... :)
