Weekend: Gym, Bare Chest Finals, Pols

Grim weather this weekend as the jet stream aimed a series of drizzly storms at us which rightfully should be up in the Northwest. Our windows had just been washed after the exterior cedar got stained, with the expensive scaffolding still up; now they're dirty again, and it's unlikely we'll see any more rain through the summer. The builder's guys were able to fix the clanging vent damper problems, though, so that has made it more peaceful.

Jose's having a fundraiser at Lime on Market at 5:30 today, so I may drop in and contribute a bit. I don't have any reason or desire to get involved in local politics, (though I'd make a pretty good Planning Commission person) so I won't stay long; people in politics tend to have more patience than I do. Suffering fools is not my forte.
