The cleaning guy is puttering around.

We're seeing Wicked with the Moviebears this evening. Seats are in the 19th row, further back than I'd normally buy -- hope the sound under the balcony is better than usual. We also saw Coraline in 3D with them Saturday; recommended although it didn't have the manic inventiveness of The Nightmare Before Christmas, but that would be hard to match. We still haven't seen The Corpse Bride.

I'm trying to get us back into square dancing, then maybe a return to Sundance. It's been hard to do anything on weekdays, including club nights, because of Paul's schedule and a desire to spend our limited weekday time together, together.

Spent a frustrating few minutes on the phone with a heavily-accented customer service guy for the Chron. Our paper didn't come this morning, and they maintain the subscription ran out months ago. Why didn't you bill us? We're sorry, sir. You owe $44 in back charges. What rate am I paying? Why don't I get something in writing? Finally he reads the rates -- $299 a year. To be advertised to. Circulation is down 15% year-over-year. Can we hide what we actually charge and get people to re-up using perma-permissions without ever talking about the rate?
