Hammer hammer thump thump

The third roof repair since we got here is going on over my head. He seems to be jackhammering the floor of the planter box, which as far as I can tell (limited rain testing) is no longer leaking. I suppose I should go up and check on the guy. Big boss has not shown up yet.

In other news, we had Paul's old friend and drinking buddy Jim, his partner, and two other friends over for dinner last night. They had a good time and I threw in an occasional bon mot to keep things moving.
