Michael G's trying to get something started at a friendly local venue, the King of Clubs in Mountain View. I plan to be there tomorrow (Sunday) to check it out.

In trying to support The King of Clubs, the local bar that provided the
free practice space for the Advanced review, I'm working w/ them and the
South Bay Bears to host a (non-square) dance this Sunday, Feb. 29 from
3-7pm. Since some ECR members are interested in other types of dancing, I
thought it might be of interest to those of you that want to shake it like
a Polaroid picture.

South Bay Bears Dance & Beer Bust Party

Please join the SBBears on Leap Day, Sunday, February 29, 2004 from 3-7pm,
for their first Dance and Beer Bust of 2004 at the King of Clubs, 893 Leong
Dr., Mountain View, CA (across from Moffett Field). We'll have DJWolf43
playing tunes for the Dance Party, and will be selling food and holding an
in-seam raffle with the Beer Bust. The Bust will cost $7.00 and The King of
Clubs will also have happy hour prices on well drinks, domestic beer and
some shots. After the Dance Party and Beer Bust, the King of Clubs will be
hosting an evening of Karaoke.
