Farmers Market, Bare Chest weekend....

On my way back from the gym, I dropped into the first-ever Castro Farmers Market at Noe and Market (between the Max Muscle store and Cafe Flore, then up Noe.) Not too much actual produce as yet, but a good start. The festive crowd was mostly chatting and not buying, but when the novelty wears off it would be nice to have another local produce outlet.

Bought a Mothers Day card (late!), then dropped into 440 and bought a Bare Chest lottery ticket from Marc Sondersen, who was trying to get into the selling mood egged on by a friend. He gave me a lollipop and a kiss.

I guess I will be collecting them all, since another contestant dropped by the house Monday to sell me some tickets. Nice when they make housecalls....
